New season, new shapes, new ways to furnish with feeling
A new season, a new Chapter, and another step forward in how we furnish modern Australian spaces. Collections 2025, Chapter 2 is the latest release in Horgans’ ongoing seasonal collection series. Bringing over 80 new pieces across seating, tables, storage and homewares. Unified by tone, texture and proportion, the range was developed with layered, multi-room interiors in mind.
In this journal, we will walk you through the thinking behind the release, the materials we are loving, and the standout designs already claiming interiors.
Sculptured forms, matt stone, textured weaves and elegant accents that subtly hold their own. A versatile foundation for the most important space, home.

Clean lines, calm tones and soft shapes that translate across different floorplans
A recurring theme in recent customer requests is the preference for softened forms, pieces with presence, yet not dominating. Interior design is shifting away from fleeting trends and bold statements, choosing refined shapes that exude timeless elegance and integrate seamlessly into thoughtfully curated spaces.
That thinking shaped the core of Collections 2025, Chapter 2. Each piece was designed with sculptural restraint, curved edges, grounded forms, and finishes that speak softly. Visible timber grain, matte surfaces, textured weaves, the overall effect is one of organic grounded elegance.
Natural oak and rich walnut add structure without heaviness. Warm ivory tones brings warmth to even the most minimal layout.

Compact scale, considered presence.
The Cleo Swivel Chair, for example, proves that comfort does not require bulk. Its rounded form tucks neatly into corners, offering movement and shape without visual clutter.
Modularity with a sense of flow.
Take the Pascal Modular Sofa – it avoids the usual boxy look of sectional seating. Its curved edges and textural upholstery give it a more fluid, less formal feel.
Accent furniture that finishes a room.
A prime example is the Lucent Side Table brings subtle sheen through a brushed finish that catches light without taking over. It is a quiet counterpoint to matte, heavier textures.

Refined alone or nested, these tables add versatility and cohesion to any space.
The Akin Drum Coffee and Side Table have gained strong interest for their versatility. Their solid, circular forms and natural finishes lend themselves to layering, spacing or standalone, ideal for creative spaces, bedrooms, lounges or relaxed client spaces.
Collection highlights
We have handpicked a few of our favourite pieces from Chapter 2; furniture that captures the mood of the collection while offering versatility across styles and space.

How to bring chapter 2 into your home
Whether you are starting from scratch or refining what you have already got, Chapter 2 offers a flexible way to rework your space without completely redesigning it.
Start with one: a sculptural chair in a quiet corner, a textured bedside table to reset your wind-down routine, or a soft-modern dining table that feels just as good during a solo breakfast as it does when friends come round. Because the tones are warm and the forms are grounded, they will not clash with what you already own.

If you are styling a full room, use repetition for calm. A soft-tone finish on your console echoed in your bedside. A warm toned armchair to complement a modern headboard. These small links are what make a space feel cohesive without being matchy.
Most importantly, do not over-style. Chapter 2 was made to feel lived-in. Let the timber furniture show its grain. Let the soft curves breathe. And let the quiet tones do their work in the background.
This is furniture that does not ask for perfection. It is here to help you create a home that feels grounded, thoughtful, and completely your own style.

Sofas & Occasional Chairs
Cloud Sofa
Generously proportioned and softly curved, the Cloud Sofa lives up to its name. Upholstered in a delightfully tactile fabric with a low, sink-in seat, it is designed to offer comfort without excess.
Frankie Chair + Ottoman Set
Covered in soft furfaux, Frankie is anything but background. With its playful shape and sink-in texture, this pairing adds a layer of boldness to living spaces.

Why touch and tone matter more than ever
There is a quiet strength in simplicity, and this season, it is all about pieces that feel as good as they look. Chapter 2 takes cues from the natural world: curved edges, raw finishes and materials that soften the feel of a room without stripping back style. Earth-inspired. Effortlessly refined.
Expect silhouettes that curve and settle, rather than take over. Timber reveals its natural grain. Timless fabrics softens the edges of structured forms. Colour stays grounded, with a palette drawn from earth and stone, warm beige, deep brown, charcoal, etc. These tones are built to work behind the scenes, effortlessly adapting to different layouts, light and styles.
Plus, this is not a collection that follows trends for the sake of them. It reflects a wider shift in furniture design trends towards tactile finishes, slower forms and a stronger connection between home and environment. If you are craving natural interiors with a bit of depth, Chapter 2 is a good place to start.
